How do I become a My world and I distributor?

You can set up in a matter of days.  You just need to choose your pack and options and we will email you an order form.  As soon as we have received it with payment (bank transfer, credit card or cheque) your order will be sent out.  You will receive the software and access to your distributor online training space the same day and the books are then  shipped within 24 hours . You can also contact us for personalised quotes so that we can advise you on the best solutions according to your project, skills, ambition and budget.

Do I need business experience?
No. Our worldwide distributors come from very varied background.  You need to  have entrepreneurial spirit, good listening skills, be creative and have good communication skills.

How much money can I make?
Average net margin for a book is £7.90.  So depending on the distribution channels you are targeting, earning potentials are unlimited. What you put into it, is what you get and we are here to help you share best practices and advice you in your strategy.  You also can recruit a team around you, develop partnership to accelerate your development. There is really a world of opportunities on how you want to develop you activity and earnings.

What equipment do I need?
A PC computer, a home laser print and a stapler, this is all you need!

Do I receive training?
To help you improve your sales, we provide  on our online training platform a wide range of technical, sales & marketing training tools (manuals, videos, visuals, press reviews, market research, bencmarking …). We also run webinars, brainstorming sessions, surveys, 1&1 individual coaching and organise work groups with distributors interested to participate in the new products & concept development.  They can participate in each step of their developement.

What are the costs?
There’s a one-time licensing fee to become a My World and I distributor. This gives you instant lifetime access to our personalisation software, support, login to your online training space.  There are no minimums orders or quotas, and no renewals in the years to come. You’re only ongoing costs are the materials you order. You can also benefits througout the year from regular promotional offers with even greater profit margins for you!

Are the books hard to make?
Not at all. The assembly process is simple and only takes about 5 minutes. Plus we have a training video showing the step by step process   and few complimentary samples in your initial order. to get the hang out of building your first books.

How are the books bound?
We recommend that you watch our videos and read  instruction manual where we show you how to bound your books.  It only takes 5 mintues with just your computer, home laser printer and a stapler.  All the rest is supplied so that it is very easy and quick to bound your personalised books.

How quickly will I be able to start making books?
You can start selling as soon as you have received your order and some distributors even do pre-sales and order more stock from the beginning to benefit from our great started pack offers.  You can start making the books as soon as your shipment arrives, which is 3-5 days within the UK and most European countries.

How do I sell/market your products; are there restrictions?
The opportunities are endless and we share the most effective ones, ideas and tips froms our distributors over the years. There is not territorial exclusivity but we ask our distributors to keep us posted on their developement so that we ensure before recruiting new distirbutors that there is no risk of direct competition.  Keep in mind these books sell themselves. You just have to show them. When customers hold our books, it becomes an easy impulse decision. It’s rare to find a gift for  less than £17 that will be immediately cherished and never thrown away.  We don’t have marketing restrictions because we own all of our characters and stories. You have creative freedom so don’t forget to share your great ideas so we can add them to our training center!
Does My World and I provide marketing materials?
Yes. We regularly create new banners, products visuals, videos, graphics, facebook banners, catalogues, flyers that are you free disposal on the training center platform.

Will I get a website to take online orders?
You can get our eCommerce pack and have your own turn key website in a matter of days, using your very own domain name.  We have carefully selected our technological partner  ORSON which we have selected for their  great customer support centre, and their intuitive and effective technology, which is also responsive design.   Your site will be fully stocked with our full catalog. The navigation, categories, related products are all preset, though you’ll have full control, so you can change anything you want.  You get full back office access so that you can manage your website as you wish over time, work on your SEO.

If you prefer to not have to manager your website directly, you can benefit from our online boutique for totally free using your domain name  if you wish.  This option is ideal if you do not have time  or do not feel confident enough to manage a website.  You can then at anytime decide to move to the ecommerce pack or other solution.

Can I sell other products alongside yours?
Yes.

Can I set my own retail prices?
Yes.  We run regular benchmarking so that we can give you recommendations but you are totally free to decide on retail price and promotional campaign you might want to run.

Do I have to pay royalties?
No.

How do I order supplies?
You just need to email us the order form.

Are there minimum orders or quotas?
No.  Books are packed by 10 and you can choose whatever you like.

When I place an order, how quickly will it arrive?
Order are shipped within 48 hours plus shipping time which is usually 3-5 days within the UK.

LOCATION
Is the market saturated for this product?
Not even close. There are 780 000 births each year in the UK alone. If you multiply that times 8, the age that we market books to, you have a potential of 6 million children that books could be sold to. The personalisation market is in full expansion and becoming increasingly popular an inscreasing demand.

Do you accept distributors outside the UK?
Yes, we recruit distributors worldwide.

What languages are available?
Book are available in English and French.  Music CD are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.  On our new digital plateform CreaKidz (creakidz.io) you can create books in any language you wish.

Can we add more languages?
You can use any language you wish from the CreaKidz Platform
Can I purchase an exclusive license for my country or region?
In most cases, we do not sell exclusive licenses; however, we understand there are circumstances internationally where this is necessary. Call for details.

What happens if I want to stop my activity
You can stop at anytime or put on hold your activity and restart later on if you wish

SOFTWARE
Is your software easy to use?
Extremely. It only takes few seconds and you just need to fill in the gaps with personalisation details and hint preview, then print.

Can I use your software to create and print my own books?
No, our software only allows our distributors to personalize our books.

Do I need an Internet connection to make the books?
No internet connection needed.

Can I install your software on multiple computers?
Yes, you can install on several computers with one license.

Will it run on a MAC? 
Our software is build for Windows (all versions going back to Windows XP).  It is not compatible on Mac.

PRODUCTS
Do you only offer personalized books?
We offer a full range of personalised storybooks including CD, DVD, games and colouring books and with CreaKidz, you can access many more book templates, scrapbooking, magazines, cards, etc.

How many books do you offer?
We have 10 best selling main stories, 10 poems, more than 50 games & colouring books, 32 CD in 8 languages, 5 DVD titles and more than 70 templates to choose from on CreaKidz platform.

Are they hardcover books?
Yes, they are beautiful glossy hardcovers you can wipe clean.

Are the books durable?
Absolutely.  Our personalised books make great keepsakes to be kept forever.

What are the size and weight of your books?
We have 2 books size depending on the titles : A4 flat and weights 0.20 grammes and A3 flat and weights 0.40 grammes

Do you offer books with photos?
No we do not do pictures books.  Some distributors print their customer’s photos into the books, but this is not done through our software. Our main reason for staying away from the photo books is that they would take the production away from the dealers, which would lower your profit margin for those titles.
We have created another concept and digital platform www.creakidz.io where you can create many photo books, magazines, etc

Do you have any licensed characters?
No, this is not something we are currently considering before of rigid marketing restrictions, higher wholesale costs, and having to discard all printed materials every time a licensed character changed.

How often do you come out with new titles?
In 2016, we launched 4 new titles, in 2017 we have launched www.creakdiz.io, a new digital platform with more than 70 models to choose from.  We are always investing in R&D and working on new concept and stories so that our distributors can benefits from new launches many times all year round.

When you add new books, are there additional license fees?
No. We do not charge for software updates.

Can I add a promotional page in the book or modify the story?
Yes. Your contact details are printed on each books but some distributors choose to add a colorful page in the front or back of the book that includes their logo, other products, coupon code, etc.
